Veterans Updates Amid Crisis n + Vet Center Is Closed
Veterans Assistance Commission of Kane County. He and his service officers will continue full operations to support Veterans, however they will be doing their work remotely, not in the office. This means that claims will continue to be filed and processed with the VA; Also, enrollment for VA medical care can take place through the services of The VAC; Plus, for Veterans who get behind in rent/mortgage payments/utilities, the VAC can provide some short term, limited financial assistance. THE VSG has closed the vet center until further notice. No Wednesday or Saturday gatherings and NO monthly meetings. We will get a more comprehensive message out to everyone and our plans for moving forward.
