News on Betty!
On her 95 Birthday Betty Butler became one fearless granny!
The Marion, Indiana, grandmother ( now a resident of St Charles) celebrated her 95th birthday on Saturday by jumping out of a plane from 13,000 feet in the air, alongside her grandchildren and her niece.
“I made it!” Butler proudly proclaimed after landing the daring skydive.
Around 40 friends and family members came to cheer her on and treated her to a post-landing cake with 95 birthday candles – which they ate in the hangar.
“It was wonderful,” Butler Said
For her 80th birthday, she rode a hot air balloon. And in the summer, she tried her hand at jet skiing.
Congratulations Betty! A Day in your Honor Dec 10 2019!
